
He served on the Board of Trustees of the Federation, the Jewish Community VOICE and was the recipient of the Shelly Greenspan Young Leadership Award in 1992. He was a member of the Young Leadership Council, volunteered in the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey’s Men’s Cabinet and at Super Sunday. While practicing Dentistry for nearly forty years, Shpeen was actively involved in the Jewish community. Shpeen was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pennsylvania Dental School.
